May 9 - 11, 15 - 17Cloud Nine begins in British Colonial Africa in 1880 and follows a family as it changes, or does not change, through history. The second act takes place in England in 1980, where so much has changed. Or has it? Cloud 9 is about identity and relationships...all sorts of relationships…both good and not so good. It is about sex, work, mothers, Africa, power, children, grandmothers, politics, money…and sex.
