This Wooden O

Let us bring Shakespeare into your classroom!  Our Wooden O program is a flexible curriculum designed for middle and high school English, Drama and History students, as well as college and community audiences.

We put Shakespeare's scripts in the hands of students all across the UpState and give them the skills to "speak the speech." After three days of workshops and in-class activities we give them an one hour performance of one of Shakespeare's classics.

Teacher resources

We're happy to provide you with some additional tools to teach Shakespeare to your students.

The Shakespeare Lexicon: Applause Books.  Two volume set with context definitions of words and references.

A Shakespeare Glossary: C.T. Onions

The Bedford Companion to Shakespeare: Russ McDonald
